Woo Whoo - Water Aerobics

I went to water aerobics tonight for the first time. No, I wasn't the youngest person there but close! I haven't been working out much lately and I can really feel it today. It's a shame when an elderly lady with a bad back can out do you! It was fun though. If I'm able to walk tomorrow, then I'm going back Thursday.

All alone... sort of, if the kids weren't here!

Shawn went out of town today. He hasn't had to go out of town for a few months so we're missing him pretty badly. I'm pround of him. It's his first time to be in charge of a statewide engineering workshop. Pretty impressive! So the kids and I have just been hanging out, not doing too much! We grilled hotdogs, played outside, and watched tv. I took Jake and Bailey to church on the four wheeler. They thought that was pretty fun. I did a little homework while they were at church. After this week, I'll have 2 more weeks of micro then I'm gonna sleep in for a couple of days!

Summer Time!!!

Summer has always been my favorite time of year. The only problem with summer is that we've found 3 snakes in our basement. They were garter snakes but still snakes! I hate snakes! So, since our home gym is in the basement...you guessed it...I haven't been working out. I'm trying to get Shawn to bring my eliptical upstairs but he won't do it!
We are getting estimates on siding and windows. So far, it has been outrageous! I had no idea that siding would be so expensive! If we don't get siding on the house this summer then we are going to paint whether my husband likes it or not! Right now it's a lovely peach (yes, peach) color with brown trim. Keep in mind, we got a great deal on this house!
I also started microbiology. It is turning out to be very interesting. I have a B right now and I'm not very happy about it. If you have an A, then you are excused from the final. I was really wanting to not have to take the final! Lab is fun. I enjoy looking at the different bacteria under the microscope.
I was a little bit down the last few days. I'm taking summer II off. I am in need of a break! Only 2 and a half weeks of micro left and then I'll get one!!
