I scheduled a couple of big tests for Wednesday the ninth. That's got me a little nervous. Just because that's the kind of person I am. I'll do fine and I know that but it doesn't help too much. I know it's strange but that's just me.
Classes start back Monday. Well, really I'm not too nervous about that. I'm becoming an "old hat" with that routine.
What's really gotten me worked up is switching from night shift to day shift. I'm a night owl. I've always had problems going to be early and waking up early. I'm not the type to be up at 6 am stripping the sheets off the beads and cleaning the baseboards. I'm more like the very fair skinned, long-toothed character in an Ann Rice novel. Well, besides killing people and drinking their blood. I don't mind drawing it into a vial though. I'm one of those people that will stay up all night long to go to the day after Thanksgiving sale just to avoid having to wake up that early. Crazy, I know. Then why am I switching? Well, my kids were really starting to miss me. Plus, I felt bad that every Saturday when they were home, they were having to be quiet in order to avoid "waking the beast"!
Hopefully, I will adjust quickly!
On another note, The Sooners are getting skunked. :(

Nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

I must confess that my husband works in Oklahoma so they have a huge Oklahoma/Texas rivalry going up there and he's here shouting for the Sooners to lose. Want me to knock him for ya? hahaha
I'm like you, I'd rather stay up than to sleep a while and get up early! I stayed up until past 4 last night cleaning and cooking. I've lost my mind!
I am a night owl, too! I feel bad for husband because he usually goes to bed alone these days- I am up blogging, painting, cleaning, organizing. Your kids will love you for it though. You are a great mom to make those kinds of sacraficies! : )
I'm just the opposite. I always get up early. I'd rather get to work early and get off early than stay up late. If I wasn't working I'd still probably be up around 7--I'm afraid I'd miss something if I slept in! My husband is just the opposite, so I end up staying up late and getting up early. Then I take a LONG nap! :)
