Last week, tired after being up early and seeing new life come into the world, I look up the road to see a lone, towering tree in the distance. I think to myself, "I've driven this road numerous times. I don't recall seeing such a huge tree." The closer I get, the more baffled I become...
only to realize that it isn't a big beautiful, towering pine. No. It's a cell phone tower.
A cell phone tower in NWA, that has been made to look like a tree. Which really makes no sense whatsoever. We don't have trees this tall in our state (or that I know of or have seen). Really! What were they thinking?

Maybe they just wanted to keep things green.... Pretty neat and crazy weird at the same time.
That is Fayetteville for you. I'm not sure, but it looks like they are putting another one over by the VA. I guess it makes them feel better about themselves. They want the cell phones, but they like to think that they are conservative with energy. They(the tree-huggers) are my least favorite thing about Fayetteville.
