Yesterday was Brayden's first birthday party. Because of all of the health problems he had when he was born, his diet has been very restricted and monitored. Yesterday was his first taste of cake and icing. I think he enjoyed it!
When he finished his cupcake, his mom gave him another without the icing. Uncle Shawn couldn't stand him doing without so... he got him another spoonful of icing!

I had to go to work last night and couldn't stay for all of the Maguffee Christmas party but I got to spend some time with BP. Meme packed me a great lunch to take to work...hmm. I love her cheese spread that she makes at christmas-time!
Yesterday was a great day with Shawn's family! It makes me sad though that I missed Declan's first birthday. I didn't realize how badly I would miss my family, especially my neice and nephews when we moved. They know that I love them though.

Every time I look at his invitation I want to cry! He is one special little boy. I am really hoping we can all make it to his party here on Saturday ,but it all depends on how Brooklynn does after her surgery. I'm sure at least one of us will get to go! Did he get lots of good stuff? I have no idea what to get him because he has everything I can think of. Any ideas?
Is Shawn stroking her hair or giving her a wet willy. He does find that amusing you know!
