This is Rileigh Cait. (Yes, that is how it is spelled!) Notice the timer in the upper right corner. She was 10 minutes and 34 seconds old. She is 7 pounds (6 pounds 15.9 ounces but they rounded up a tenth of an ounce but Aunt Shelly wasn't counting) and 19 and 3/4 inches long. Isn't she cute?

Yes, this is me and I'm crying worse than the new baby that has just been exposed to the harsh outside environment. Dadgummit! New life is a very emotional thing!
I was very proud of my sister today. She was very brave and strong. It's not my story to tell but I will say...she's got grit! Maybe when she gets home, she'll share it on her blog! It's been a very long day so that's all for now. Maybe tomorrow, with less homework looming over my tired head, I'll post more pictures of more nieces and nephews!

Yea!!! Congratulations! I miss you guys...I wish we lived closer together. I think I miss our family get togethers more and more everyday. I told my dad today that I would like to drive up for the day next week. Anyways, I love you guys!

I didn't think that I was going to get to see them before they went home so thank you for posting pics of the little sweetie! I did get to go see them before they went home from the hospital, she is a beautiful baby! I had no idea how much dark hair she had until I seen her, the little hat in the pics covers it all up.
