School was out today because of ice. That ment that I didn't get my usual Monday "to-do's" done. I think I've mentioned before the crazy schedule we keep in this house. Well, I had to have a few things from W-Mart and the youngest boy had a basketball game tonight. When Shawn got home, I ask him if he thought I had time to get to W-Mart (the closest is 20 miles away) and back in time for the game at 6. He said "Well, yeah!" All the while looking at me like I was crazy. I go and get back to the gym with 10 minutes to spare. Only, when I get there...there are no cars in the parking lot. I call Shawn and he tells me that he is at the game...5 miles further than W-Mart. SCREAM!!!!!! This is the type of thing that happens to me, quite often. You say, lack of communication? Probably.
On another note. I decided to give Poly a home-made haircut. It didn't turn out so well. Poor thing was so traumatized by my hairdressing skills that she wouldn't leave Shawn's side. So much for trying to save some money. It's so crooked now that the groomer will probably charge extra.
On yet another note. My mom and Meme both gave me money for my birthday. I was going to use it for something specific but Shawn got it for me. I carried the money around for a while but really couldn't think of anything else that I wanted. We got the kids a PS3 for christmas and they (and Shawn) have really been wanting Guitar Hero ever since. I wasn't sure about it until getting the OK from PW. I'm sure most of you know of the post that I speak (or write). I can hear my mother now, "If PW jumped off of a cliff, would you too?" No. Well, maybe.
Anyway, we now have it. Guitar Hero, that is. My daughter told me that I stick my tongue out sometimes when I'm concentrating. I didn't believe her. She now has proof.
By the way, I think I've played it more than anyone else in this house.

Poor Polly! or should I say Poor Shawn...
Sorry that you missed the game. I'm sure he understands it was a miscommunication.
We're signing Edana up for t-ball. She's not too thrilled. She thought she'd get to play softball "just like Bailey." That was fun to explain!
Guitar Hero is addictive! Even my 4 year old loves it.
As far as the dog grooming...you did a much better job than my uncle. He tried the same thing one time and ended up cutting the poor dog under one leg. It was awful!
Hope you have a good week!
Hey! Thanks for the comment about my hair. I guess you hadn't seen it yet. It still takes me a while to fix, but it actually looks okay not curled too. I can't wait to see you this weekend! I think Kayla is looking forward to the weekend too.
I love snow says too, but I hate having my normal schedule messed up!
